Enso Sizing

This is so important that I am going to dedicate a separate page for the subject.

Enso skate boot sizing goes in 5mm increments. The boot was designed around Intuition liners but can be used with any other liners.
The following size guide provides the most accurate size recommendation, if the boot is used with Intuition liners (skate, skatev2, premium, FR and wizard, excluding Them Intuition )

Boot sizes:
The boot size stands for the effective maximum inner length on the inside of the boot. (not sole length)

My personal size recommendation is Comfort fit, which is mondo size of foot in mm plus 15mm.
Example: measured mondo foot size 275mm with an added 15mm yields a 290 boot size.
If your foot is an in between size, you can round up or down, let's say your foot is 272.5 mondo, you could either round up to 290 or down to 285, the performance difference should not be noticeable, but comfort wise it could be .
Rounding up or down could also depend on your sock preference, if you are mostly skating using thinner socks, rounding down could work, if you are using thicker socks, rounding up should be considered.

+15 may seem a lot, but Intuition liners have about 6-7mm padding behind the heel and 4-5mm padding at the toes. The extra remaining few provide some room minimize the hits are pressure onto the toes and toenails.

Width
Enso is generally a wider skate boot, my general advice for choosing width should be based on your previous experience with other skates , if you found most skate boots in the past too wide, go for narrow, if you never noticed that most shells on your foot is too wide or painful on the sides then go for Regular, if you experienced pain on the outer side of your foot with most other skate boots then go for the Wide
option.
The width only affects the outer front edge of the shape of the boot and the toe box width. The heel area is not affected by it, because the softboot construction, the semi soft shell wraps around your heel and ankle as precisely as much you tighten the laces.

Downsizing and using other liners

The information in the previous section only applies to most Intuition and similar liners .
The +15 should work with many other liners that are similar in volume to Intuition liners, even if the other liners offer more padding in the heel but have a thin neoprene toe.
Downsizing is possible but I haven't noticed any performance or visual advantage during the testing of several sizes, the only difference was in comfort which was lesser with shorter sizes.

I regard most Intuition liners as medium volume liners, if you prefer low volume liners like RL1, RL2 and 2nd skin, you can try +10 that would not require modification of the boot or +5, that would most likely require heat molding by heat gun and other modification techniques .
Downsizing could result varied levels mild toe nail, toe joint pressure, discomfort and pair, soreness after a session depending on the amount of downsizing.
